This isn’t meant to be political. It’s the best, succinct reason I’ve heard why it’s okay and healthy for a country to esteem itself. Why it’s healthy to stand at attention, look at the flag, and belt out our national anthem.
“If we can’t agree on what’s good, we can’t agree what we’re aiming at then we’re completely fractionated and divided. Because it’s a shared aim, a shared vision that unites people. And I mean that technically. I mean that psychologically….If you’re in a society and everyone’s eyes are pointing at the same thing, that’s what a flag is for—is to indicate a union of purpose then we’re all predictable to one another. You know what everyone is up to. And that’s the same as peace. You fragment that, you allow it to disappear, you criticize it out of existence, you have an atomized society. An atomized society is a violent chaos. It’s not an anarchic utopia.†Dr. Jordan B. Peterson circa 2018.

Looks like summer is ready to lock in now. I see the potential for 10-14 days of dry and very warm and at times hot conditions.

Just wait until next weekend. Some model runs are suggesting low to mid 30's.
