We're only 3 days away from reaching the half point of the year. Only a few more months until Christmas arrives in Costco! ;)

Feeling cautiously optimistic that this summer is not going to be a total torchfest. Which is not predicting a cool, drizzly bummer summer. There will still be plenty of warmth and sunshine, just more in line with historical norms. Our summers are normally warm and dry.

Expect next weekend to be significantly warmer than this one.

Yes. I agree. There have been drizzly bummer summers in the past. I guess my main point I have been trying to make is I believe it will feel different than the last few years in terms of getting extreme heat. We can still get hot but I think we will be able to go outside much more often and not feel like it's too hot and the air quality will not be as degraded. At least those are my hopes.

Maybe but there is still way too much model disagreement to say for sure. The Euro has been consistent as of recent in building a heat ridge over BC. However, it backed off last night. But then it went back to the heat solution in today's run. We will see what it shows tonight.

Inland areas reaching at least the upper 20’s seems a safe bet.
