May 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
With the high heat this lat weekend of April and May being forecast to be a warmer than normal month from the CFS monthly, will we break our first 30C in May or have our first heatwave of the year this month?

EC says 27°C IMBY Saturday. Abby or the ’Wack might well break 30 if that happens.stuffradio wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 1:09 pm With the high heat this lat weekend of April and May being forecast to be a warmer than normal month from the CFS monthly, will we break our first 30C in May or have our first heatwave of the year this month?
Autumn? Spring? Pfft, who needs ’em? Just lurch from summer to winter and back!
It's called clown range for a reason.

That’d be alright, we gotta get that showery June to prevent an early fire season. We’re still at a large rainfall deficit from the dry October to February.

That looks absolutely insane if it materializes and holds together.Leighbugs wrote: ↑Mon May 01, 2023 8:56 pm https://twitter.com/ensembleator/status ... BmcgQ&s=19

Re: May 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
I feel like we are due for a widespread thunderstorm event. When was the last one? The closest I can think of in recent memory was 2009 and...I think maybe 2013? By widespread I mean entire Lower Mainland seeing some action and not one and done boomers.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Mon May 01, 2023 9:00 pm That looks absolutely insane if it materializes and holds together.
