April 2023 Forecasts And Discussions

Post by stuffradio »

April showers bring May flowers! Will we have a lot of rain this month? We're heading into El Nino territory so it will be interesting to see how the weather pattern develops over this month and into the Summer.

:alert:
The snows in cabin country(Similkameeens) have taken a ferocious beating the last cupla weeks. Still lots left in areas...maybe around 8 to 12", but gone from roadways and areas in the sun, due to higher sun angles. Still around 50% coverage in sunny areas. Lake still has ~15" of ice..can still ice fish but edges of lake are melting and very sketchy to get onto lake. Another cupla weeks and
another deeeecent Similkameeens winter will be just another fabulous memory
April is here and the weather only gets better now 8-)

0.8ËšC. Surprisingly cold for a mostly cloudy morning in April. If precip was falling, it could well be wet snow.

Who knows if it will happen or not, but the Euro guidance for tomorrow morning is surprisingly plausible.

Looking very troffy again
Im surprised EC hasnt mentioned T-Storms yet considering the instability and hail already at 930am in the valley(Langley). Some Cumulus out there this morning already, and with daytime heating due to higher sun angles...it looks like some downpours, with heavy rain, hail likely and possible thunder and lightning today. Some very angry looking clouds out there already and its only morning time
