Yea. The east has just been blasted this winter. NOT!

Interesting that the 18Z has the arctic air much closer next weekend on this run. Hopefully this is the start of a trend.

I might be going crazy but I can’t shake this feeling that we are going to see something pop up in the nearer term on the models. catnip?

Honest question here....why is it that the arctic air always heads east? What stops it from coming to our area? It is always 10 days away and then everyone gets excited including me and then next model runs cancel winter. Now I understand why everyone says model riding is a roller coaster ride :crazy:

February 2017 will tell you your not crazy at all. :thumbup:

It looked so obvious that we would see a mild pattern and suddenly it flipped to cold and snowy a few days out.
