Re: December 2024 Forecasts And Discussions
Plenty of cold rain coming our way in March, April, and May. Maybe some slush as well.

it felt like spring yesterday, went for a walk - mild, light rain, robins flitting about and a few blossoms in my garden

Kind of curious how our spring might go. Very late Enso drop this season so it’s kind of an oddball.

Ackshally, spring is already here. Average temperatures are rising, so that means you may as well call it spring...

Still think Feb will be dry and chilly at the surface.
Sure bet March to June it will be colder and wetter than average.

Extrapolate?
Soon the operational runs will start showing the 2nd half of Jan, which is the time period where the GEFS extended and EPS extended have been showing some potential.
Means nothing at this point but still the time period to focus on... for now.

Re: December 2024 Forecasts And Discussions
I'd stretch it out to roughly Nov 20 - Feb 20... outside of that timeframe it's usually tough to see any meaningful accumulations. There have been exceptions of course.
