I do miss Aldergrove in terms of being on the receiving end of a good blow. I would lay back And receive some of the best blows of my life when living there. Living north of the river and inland makes windstorms very much less exciting.

Not sure if I believe it. Nothing showing up on the lightning display, unless it is in cloud or cloud to cloud.

Highly unlikely. I think it appears that way because the coverage is cutoff. Those images are showing a much weaker low and much farther south than any other models are showing

Good point. Regardless, still very strong winds for those exposed to the southerlies. :D :clap:

I believe it now! My lightning display isn't working for some reason. A lot of people are talking about it on the Facebook group 'Vancouver Island Weather Enthusiasts' Very unusual!
