Awesome shots Bones, actually visibility in the central valley was decent this evening.
It hasn't been too bad through this somewhat over done heat hump. Sitting at 20c @ the pond in south Sardis its actually refreshing this evening.

Only to appear again like the raging Keremeos Creek fire. Perhaps the bone dry GFS is a skeleton

Re: July 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
My outdoor pool with no heater is at 29 degrees. It's never been that warm any other summer. Even still, it offered the best option to cool down even a little bit. The humidity is what's making this wayyyyy worse because I normally can handle heat pretty well but I admit even I've been way too hot the last several days.

Low of 18.9ËšC outside, 22.7 inside.

Agree, Bones looks like another round of heat and dry or as l like to call it no pun intended Hound the dog days of summer.coming up.
It's currently 21c @ the pond in south Sardis and sunny.
Not what we need fires are taking off in the interior, Keremeos Creek fire is one to watch one near Loon/Green lake and one near Golden couple small ones near Ashcroft.

Cause warming global temperatures and a thinning ozone layer translates to planet earth becoming a crock pot.

What's impressive with this heatwave is the number of consecutive days without any cloud cover in the Lower Mainland. There were scattered high cloud earlier this week, but it didn't obscure the sun in whole or in part.
