At the end of the day the weather is going to do what it wants to do. Good or bad, we just have to accept what we are given (fortunately/unfortunately).

As I've gotten older I take the same view. Honestly don't even pay much attention to any maps over a week out as I know most likely it
will not verify.

Case and point, the Armageddon wind warnings we got for the 23rd -25th of December. The warnings were issued and nothing happened. I'm not complaining that nothing happened, just observing that even 18hrs out, things change.

Hey, can still have fun posting Euro maps showing widespread highs in the 60’s Fahrenheit on the AF and collecting vomit reacts.

Have had three winters in a row featuring storm total snowfalls of 20 cm or better, a dud was bound to happen sooner or later.
It's called clown range for a reason.

I'd move to Halifax in a heartbeat if I could. Beautiful scenery and dynamic weather. I've never been there but it seems like a great location.
Here's a video showcasing the lakes and ponds in Dartmouth, which is located across the Halifax harbour. Looks like a really nice place to live.

Conditions in the mountains were great today. This is Mount Kelly in Manning Park. About 2’ at the start and about 4’ up top. Was -6 first thing in the morning and warmed up to -1 in the afternoon.

EC seems to be going by the GEM and perhaps GFS as well and disregarding the ECMWF. Not sure how wise that is.

The Euro is not perfect but I'd go with it over the GFS and GEM with the short term details although the RGEM and HRDPS are usually really good.

Snowing hard in Kelowna but it’s like coastal snow, not sticking at all.
