Not too sure. Fun to look at though. I recall one of these runs in late Jan showing temps 20C below normal for us in early Feb... obviously we did end up getting an arctic blast but nothing that extreme. :lol:

Too bad it wasn’t cold right now. We’re likely going to see a nice deformation band setup across the south coast later today, as that low slides just to our south.

That Rex block pattern has disappeared from the models in a hurry. Kind of a surprising turn of events

Just my gut feeling but I don’t think we’ll see enough amplification to deliver arctic air in the week 2 period. Active and cool with mountain snow is probably a good bet though

Pretty much what I've been thinking all along. Cool and active late Nov thru mid Dec. Perhaps some slushfalls for higher elevations.
