Yes it woke me up. I don't know if it was the heaviest downpour I've ever seen, but it was certainly very close. We are also in East Abbotsford close to Delair.

Wonder why they are digging out the ice rink by hand on Grouse. Been watching them do this the last few days. Last year they had a snow blower.

Exactly...Golf was a nightmare this summer. I dont expect it to be much different on the mountain

Usually you hope to see bitterly cold airmasses in the arctic circle this time of year. However it remains fairly seasonal in the arctic circle through the end of Nov. Warmer than normal in Alaska and the Yukon.

Lots more potential for AR events the next few weeks.

Ice was late over the shallows of the Siberian portion of the arctic, due to temperatures averaging +5c over the summer.

What's with all the sunshine out there? My EC app shows showers all day long. I'm definitely not complaining.

How many hoops did you have to jump through to book a tee time? I never even phoned but heard rumours about needing a foursome, credit card only, difficulty to cancel, booking a week in advance, etc. . How about the pace of play?

It might actually be worse on the slopes if 20-45 minute chairlift wait times will be common place. At least once you get a golf tee time I presume it shouldn't be that bad unless pace of play slows right down, which would be pretty annoying.
