Couple of slushy centimetres on the west side near UBC. Looks like it turned to rain at some point. Melting fast.

Indeed it was quite gusty here overnight. Yet another aspect of the cold air damming that delivered the goods for many areas north of the Fraser. Currently 4ËšC after an overnight low of 3.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Season high 4cm.
Go figure this falls when there wasn't a snowfall warning.

Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
They did say 4cm for higher elevations. We more than doubled that but I doubt it met criteria for most areas.
The melt has begun.

Burnaby Mountain @ 365 m..

Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Edit: I got 4.3mm of rain last night.
Nothing but some gusty warm winds here. 6C currently and low of 2C. The GFS was clueless.

Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Some potential squall development this afternoon (thunderstorms, hail and strong winds). Another one should form overnight ahead of the strong NW winds tomorrow early AM.

Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Well, for the first time this winter, I actually scored a bit.
Ended up with 6cm!
Actually that's the most in the shortest amount of time this winter as well! Geeeez.
Anyway, nice to see and experience one last time for this sad and pathetic winter.
Currently 2.3c

Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Hard to believe lots of people got snow overnight. It’s 9 degrees and sunny here. Starting to feel spring like
