This seems to provide a basic reason for which areas for snow and which ones did not.

Wow almost 10 cm. I’m surprised.
So I guess that puts me around 45 cm season to date.
Still half of Burnaby Mtn average but I’ll take anything.

1cm here. Snow was pretty wet and had a hard time sticking.
North end of Shawnigan Lake. Southern Vancouver island. 500ft

Woke up about 3am and saw wet snow falling, but precip didn’t look heavy enough, likely hampered by gusty south winds to prevent it from getting heavier and accumulating.

Very odd winter in our little microclimate!
