Progressive pattern was always in the cards. This would bring varying weather such as heavy rain, dry and warm conditions and fringe lowland snow chances.
Those fools keep searching for arctic outbreaks which arent in the cards
I wouldn't say an arctic outbreak isn't in the cards. Thats a rather bold statement. How does your eastern ice box look on the models?
You are right, some of the A forum members are being quite silly, but to rule out arctic air altogether is also silly.

That frontal system advertised for Friday barely drops any precip over the Lower Mainland. In fact Friday looks nice and dry with sunny breaks with temps well into the teens. Looks almos a derecho being advertised. 100km/hr + southerly winds followed by very strong SW winds behind it. Meanwhile some very intense precip rates associated with a line of tstorms on Vancouver Island.

Nito has fun with the weather just like the rest of us. Lets refrain from saying things like "so and so is always wrong." Thats not nice.
I didn’t say always but mostly. That’s not nice of you to call me not nice.
