Sea ice is trending towards zero and that is just basic fact, not opinion. The numbers easily bare this out. Last I checked this year came close to the 2012 sea ice minimum. Area and thickness continue to decline relatively rapidly.

Bah. Its frustrating but what are we gonna do. People's minds are all made up. I'm hoping to just focus on weather more than climate even though that wasn't my original intent in signing up here.

Kind of liking the weather today but I'm looking forward to our ridgy next weekend as well.

Hey random question if anybody knows, I haven't been paying super close attention but I just noticed today RGEM goes to 84 hours instead of 48 now. When did that change?

Overall a pretty raw day. Temps peaked at 10.8c here at 10:30 and have fallen gradually since then. Currently 8.6c here in east coquitlam with moderate rain and gusty NE winds.
