It was -33C at 7:45am and -15.5C at 8:00am. :D

Yup my wind gauge at home was gusting to 25kmh @ 7p.m. and now at work near Sumas the wind suddenly picked up.
The 7th annual snowfall contest is canceled due to no snow this winter.

Although the trend of high latitude blocking has been promising this fall, its proximity to the coast and the axis tilt has not been ideal. Hopefully that is not a precursor of things to come.

It’s bloody October what are we all expecting-10??
This is a mild artic outbreak tomorrow morning will be quite chilly with temps dropping through the night dew point are quite cold all ready

I think we will see a few cold outbreaks November December

I think we are just joking around. There was never going to be a temp drop with this type of front, especially in October. Could be a hard freeze tomorrow night some places.

I’m not giving up on early November yet, though the models seem to disagree with me.

I kinda hope we see some sort of AR type pattern as sort of a pattern reset so to speak. I haven’t really looked at anything beyond day 10 yet though.
