I set my expectations low for this winter, a 2017/18 repeat. Didn't think I was being overly optimistic at the time LOL. But yeah it is what it is, not the end of the world but definitely not the best year for a complete bust. Although there is still some time for redemption but I'm starting to think its going to happen in April like Nito keeps saying.

Outlier. It's over. I accept defeat. Winter cancel. The bears are about to wake up from hibernation. Time for a bike ride.

Do you have snow maps for the 18Z? Looked very snowy for my area.

Here’s a map of how much snow won’t actually fall.Esquimalt39 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 31, 2021 2:44 pm Do you have snow maps for the 18Z? Looked very snowy for my area.

That is a huge block over the Arctic

. Let the model riding continue

Re: January 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
I've been too busy to read every post this year but has definitely been a very dull, gloomy winter even for a life long Lower Mainland resident. Quit following long range models years ago as got tired of telling people the cold/snow was coming only to end up with egg on my face when the opposite would happen. ( But thanks to all who post them ) Hopefully Feb gives us something but not holding out much hope at the moment as real cold hasn't even got very close to us.
