I've had more this year in East Van than I got on Bainbridge Island in Feb 2019 (and that was an epically snowy month there).

Way the clown range maps are going it would not be a big surprise if we see snow in March.

Possibly below freezing highs in the valley today and dew points around -20C. That’s super dry. Still feels a bit like early February 2014 to me.

The look of these Alaskan ridges is impressive considering its 10-15 days away. Southwest ridge looks good. I'm thinking March 9 we might see something quite significant. Hopefully there is moisture available.

-4 last night high of +2
-1.1 currently

I cleared the ice off the water buckets at 9 am this morning and it had a skim of ice by 2. More icebreaking tomorrow I guess.

About the same sort of temps here. Walking home from the bus I noticed a puddle that froze overnight and hadn't thawed all day.
