Hound? Well if you used your keen sense of smell, you would see those are probably deer tracks on the rivers edge, not Hawk Claws
And here it is..December 2024 all snow geeks have been waiting for :silent: ..with the LR weather "charts" calling for a cold and snowy month. Where's the troffing? :silent: :silent:

The GFS is clueless right now. Every run is significantly different.

I'd ignore it for now.

True but it's really Goofy this winter for some reason. I guess we'll find out in 384 hours.

It usually comes across that you are torturing yourself by following the models.

That’s actually a big part of it. It would probably seem a little less chaotic if we only analyzed the 0z and 12z runs.

I wouldn't count on any big cold snaps. This is a La Nina year and it hasn't produced as the temps are 1 degree too high. Otherwise there would be much more snow this year. I don't see why this would change, there hasn't been enough dynamics in the weather changes. A stay at home Covid winter type pattern following the norm of nothing exciting happening. Besides, I told you I fixed my plow, that means it won't happen. At least I didn't go buy a pallet of salt.

Is that the 2nd or 3rd period map that you're looking at?
