Seems to be coming from the WNW. Not a bad track for me; moderately upslope. No wonder I’ve been getting flakes despite the generally weak radar echoes.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Not really going to accumulate much at this rate.

Hopefully it picks up at some point.

Snowing decently here, but the flakes are small. Not accumulating on cars or the road, but still very nice to look at.

Why can’t we get this in December/January!?

Unfortunately for you, the NNE direction that upper-level flow seems to be coming from at the moment gives your area moderate downsloping. Maybe later this afternoon the direction will shift?

Maybe my downsloping theory is all wet?
:dunno:

Enjoy the snow regardless! Nice to see the wealth being shared today.

The temperature is rising like rocket, from 1c to 2C in 15 min. What landed on the driveway earlier this morning is melting fast. Too bad it’s mid February and the sun always wins. Well, I will be done with this disappointed winter after this event. Look forward to a warm and sunny spring.

could you possibly be looking at a Whidbey Island, WA radar product that has gaps in its coverage to the north over the lmd? Compare it to an Environment Canada Aldergrove (WUJ) product and see if the gaps are filled in...

Weak outflow at mid layers with a weak SE outflow. This is why Agassiz, Mission and Maple Ridge, Poco, extreme North Surrey are seeing lesser amounts.

Look how bright it is near Anus Road!
