Fortunately, we didn't get anywhere near the amount of wind or the duration that we did on tuesday.Roberts Creeker wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2024 8:04 pm Windy here again but it looks like the Island is hardest hit, lots of red on the BC Hydro map over there.

I think we might be looking at an after Christmas winter. mind you, longer term modes seem to be having difficulty coalescing around definite solutions.

Sure solution in the next 2 weeks is above normal heights out west. I think we see a zonal flow take hold by mid December while cold builds up in Alaska...dominos fall in early-mid January.

That progression would be more in line with an old school winter, but we'll be fighting tooth and nail with climo over the last three decades.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2024 10:57 am Sure solution in the next 2 weeks is above normal heights out west. The east is also well overdue for a front loaded winter to be fair.

Lots can change in the long range, and it often does of course..lets face the facts! Let's check back around Dec 4-7 to see what the models are showing for the next 7 days afterwards
The #patternlock repeated troffing may once again be present buttees!! But this time with the LN variable, bringing us some snow?
