Be careful with buying what the ensembles are saying. Based on MJO harmonics, which are fairly reliable, October is looking like a troughy, active and wet pattern for Western Canada.

If the Harvest Moon occurs in September then it replaces the Corn Moon but if it happens in October then it replaces the Hunters Moon.

They don’t necessarily contradict each other. Could be torchy and dry for a week then the fire hose could turn on.
