It was one of the most entertaining Canucks games I've ever seen live. Final score was 6-4 Canucks. :D  8-)
I had the game on at work it sounded fun glad you enjoyed it Jr.

It looks like a quality control issue Sheriff Goosed, looks like your rain gauge was showing the temperature by mistake.

One of the "big three" winters of the 90s, which included 90-91 and 96-97.

Cool stat...January 1993 was the last month that YVR averaged below freezing.

Data from Mundy park in Coquitlam...snow on the ground from Dec 16th till Jan 28th: https://climate.weather.gc.ca/climate_d ... pe=navLink

Looks like peak snow depth reached 52cm in early Jan '93 at another station at lower elevations in Coquitlam: https://climate.weather.gc.ca/climate_d ... pe=navLink

That could actually be today's high. Golfed in 20° weather in Langley, that's all she wrote folks for summer type temps. Still hoping for some sunshine before we get snowed under this winter. ;)

Isn’t it -.5?

Would make it tied for 11th.

Daily data shows -0.5C however three days which had hourly data didn't factor into the final average.

Looking at the monthly data for 1993...it's corrected and the three missing days are accounted for. This pushes up the average slightly to -0.4C: https://climate.weather.gc.ca/climate_d ... 93&Month=1

Quick peak at tropicaltidbits.com..A notable decrease in the SSTs off our coast. A little warming at the equator though. Not a big deal. Cool neutral or even slightly warm neutral is just fine.
