Back on location in the East Van Slush Zone. Now mixing with rain and melting, but based on how much slush is on the cars and streets would estimate about 1 cm accumulation at the peak.

I don’t think so. When it’s still zero degrees in Ladner of all places and snowing steadily, game on. Cloverdale has steady snow coming down still too.

Looks like game over here at least. Precip lightened up, heavier precip arrived and temp shot up to 1.5C with heavy rain.

Update: Some snowflakes mixing in but belt too strong.

Snowing in Mission at Cedar & Best (143 meters). I'm about 15 meters higher, but unfortunately I have not set up a camera yet.

HRRR got the transition right happening before 2pm. Looks like the higher elevations are warming from north to south. Could be a weird day where Burnaby Mtn transitions to rain before Ladner.
