Snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 20 cm is expected.

Another round of snow for East Vancouver Island

Where: East Vancouver Island

Time span: Thursday afternoon to Friday morning.

Total snowfall accumulation: 10 cm except 20 cm inland.

Remarks:

A Pacific low pressure system combined with cold outflow winds from the BC mainland inlets will produce snow over East Vancouver Island beginning Thursday afternoon and become heavy in the evening. Areas near the Strait of Georgia can expect 10 cm while inland areas can expect up to 20 cm. The snow will transition to rain overnight or Friday morning.

Areas around Nanaimo can expect a risk of freezing rain during the transition from snow to rain.

While areas on the inner south coast will have to wing it with afew flurries. And don't be greedy don't you think you had enough give other areas a chance to get something you weather weenies. :wtf:
