Snowing pretty good down here as well. Want to say I woke up to a cm or so.

Re: February 2025 Forecasts And Discussions
welp...NWS and EC have both given us sad morning forecast updates. Generally expect a total of 5-10cms total by tomorrow afternoon. Temps warm enough to still offer rain/snow showers for today, even in the Abby forecast. Is that all we gittin?

Re: February 2025 Forecasts And Discussions
06z GFS says enjoy your 2-3" of snow, becuz thats all we get as the rest of the run is back to bone dry. Wow..the LR "dry" and chilly forecasts were actually bang on, just 30 days off on the calendar. Impressive if it verifies that dry this month too

Re: January 2025 Forecasts And Discussions
I really think the snowfall maps that have been posted here from TWN are the best guess of what’s about to happen. Looks like the snowiest period will be the 24 hours or so starting at midnight tonight. If I was EC, I would get a snowfall warning out. Even the stingiest model, the GEM, has a warning-worthy snowfall for much of the metro area. It’s going to mostly be below freezing tomorrow. Even 5 cm can make a real mess of the roads.
