I'm at 30 cm but I only just measured for the first time now so with compaction I'm sure it was more.

I'm jumping the gun and giving this winter an "A" already. Why?

Its a Strong EN
Its only just Jan 17
This is the 3rd time it has snowed here. Previous snowfall was around 8cms
We just had 4-5 days sub freezing
We had a massive snow storm after those frozen and very cold 4-5 days
It wont be changing to rain at the end or even within 24 hours

Oh no. It's tapering off. The snow is moving to my SE. I'm too far NW to pick up any more, I'm afraid. Unless it moves back out from the east like some models had hinted at.

I'm going to end at 29.0 cm as a storm total with a peak depth of 27.5 cm.

As thrilled as I am with a MASSIVE overperform for this part of town, I'm now a little annoyed by how excruciatingly close I was to the psychological barrier of 30.

It looks like a solid 25 cm to 35 CM for many areas of the Lower Mainland today :shock:
