Sun angles definitely making an impact here too. Cleared surfaces having a hard time re-accumulating snow. Air temperature still below freezing though so no snow bombs from the trees yet.

Yep. Makes shoveling easier as you only need to do it once in the morning.

edit: I can actually see the sun through the clouds.

Up to 17.5cm here in north Nanaimo. Tried to get my work van up my road once this morning. Didn't even make it far enough to warrant a 2nd chance.

Yeah, once I shoveled the driveway it's not accumulating on the bare pavement. Need heavier snow rates and bigger flakes for that.

It's cool seeing the gusty SE winds blow the light snow around through.
