Was HOTTTTT today. Normally I'm totally fine with the heat but the humidity is making this a bit more unbearable as well as the warm nights. I spent the day floating in my pool though, so that wasn't bad. It was already 30 degrees here by 10 am and at 8:45 pm it was still 33C! Just crazy. And to think we have 4 more days of this to go...and I have a feeling tomorrow will be even hotter.
Crazy to think that mere weeks ago we were worried that it would never warm up and it could be the year without a summer.

Still hot and now smoke too. I just hope it lowers the temp tomorrow, having both will not be an improvement. :(

Lows last night:
Abby 19.4c
Wack 19.8c
Pitt Mead 19.5c
Very consistent. 6 weeks ago we would have been happy with these temps for Highs. O well..my pepper plants are finally happy, although likely too hot for them rn.

EC now has Abby at 35cH for today/tom as well with Lows of 19c/20c. And Lytton at H40-41c next 3 days. The heat is on!
Sleep well my friends

It was very hot yesterday but thankfully we live in a basement suite where it stays nice and cool. :)

Low of 20.5ËšC outside, 23.5 inside with window fans going full blast all night.

Since my bedroom is on the upper floor, I got out the foam mattress I use for camping and slept on the floor of the lower level, near an air-inlet window.

Already up to 27.6°C at home, and it’s not even 10:00.

Up to 25°C at YVR at 09:00. At this rate, 32 in coastal areas and around 40 inland seems a safe bet (and even hotter in the Valley).
