Some modified arctic air trickles out to the coast by next Thursday/Friday per 00z GFS. Fairly dry and could get pretty chilly, especially if there's snow on the ground.

The PDO was -3.06 as of October 2021. If I'm not mistaken, that is the coldest PDO since 1955 when it dipped down to -3.35. :shock: :shock: :shock:

Don't think we'll quite get there since there's less blocking overall this go around. Combine Dec '71 with Dec '07 and you'll get pretty darn close to the overall pattern shown on the GFS, at least for the next 10 days.
