Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
I think we ended up with about 10cm maybe a couple more. Hockey was still able to happen for both kids so don't think we got huge totals in town either.

Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
That is some tiny ass flakes falling. Maybe 1-2 cm so far here. Flakes are going to have to get larger for EC’s reactionary warning to verify IMO.
Burnaby Mountain @ 365 m..
Stats? Fresh out of those. But I win anyway. I got all the inches.

You are correct Nito. We have a wee bit but can still see the grass . It is snowing but very light and fine. Hopefully that changes soon!!wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 7:09 am Pitt Meadows, Poco and Hounds area appear to be in a no snow zone.

That’s it. Really I expected more down there. Looks like it’s gonna snow for awhile longer.Weatherhead wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 7:11 am I think we ended up with about 10cm maybe a couple more. Hockey was still able to happen for both kids so don't think we got huge totals in town either.
Seemed like even the island was fighting dry air with the strong outflow. It’s snowing steady but when we get our big snows it’ll often be 3-5cm/hr rates.

Malahat highway station is showing 25cm. That sounds like a winner from any reports I’ve seen

Maybe 2cm here. Snowing decent but really tiny flakes. I guess better than nothing. Maybe get a couple decent bands rolling through today and we can get over 5 which at least makes it look nice.

Yuck. Looks like some of those “screw Canada†maps with most of the precip not making it across the 49th might be verifying. Hopefully not. I would prefer for the wealth to be shared.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
6 cm overnight, flakes are pretty small, minus 3, not much wind. I am surprised that there is so much less here than at Monty's and the Malahat.
