The HRRR looks good at 4am Wednesday. Maybe YVR can record some accumulating snow for the first time in a year?

Goodness this is piling up pretty quickly...and now it looks more like wet snow than hail...

I miss a good hail storm, we used to get those more often as well. It's like all the exciting weather is just stripped from us. Thunder storms as well, I recall more of those in the past too now I can't even remember the last one we had.

This winter is now officially so sucky that people are gloating about scoring a short-lived cm of graupel.
It's called clown range for a reason.
