It must be some type of mental disorder. But even after yesterday’s crushing disaster I’m excited about the potential for a few cms tomorrow night.

I'm considering getting a new hobby if this winter fails again. We live in the worst part of the world for boring and depressing weather.
We will never come close to the UK. I was there for their “historic” 2010 arctic blast that grounded that country to a halt. It wasn’t anything extreme to PNW standards. I found a UK weather forum a while back to share my memories about it and I ended up following it for a while and my god it’s depressing. Non stop rain train with almost no hope of snow except for the odd quick hitter.

We have a city here that sounds similar to that even though it should probably get more snow due to its latitude. And a very fitting name too. Prince Rupert LOL

There was this guy on the AF saying he hadn’t gotten a flake in 700 days :( Could always be worse folks. We are coming off of four decent to good winters by this century’s standard.

funnily enough Prince Rupert is the same latitude as Lancaster in the Uk, has about the same weather, though wetter recently
