Interesting Ms. Spacedoutcreeks. I've seen the milkyway while camping away from city light pollution it looks like a haze you would think it was thin clouds.Roberts Creeker wrote: ↑Thu Apr 28, 2022 2:26 pm Not weather but space! How to take pictures of the milky way with your dslr camera:

Here with no lights or city glow it is quite distinct. The first time I saw it I thought it was clouds but figured it out.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Thu Apr 28, 2022 8:32 pm Interesting Ms. Spacedoutcreeks. New lambs today. Triplets and I thought she was going to only have one. The first one is tiny at only 3 3/4 lbs, her brothers are each 6 1/2 lbs. Lambing in the sunshine at the end of April sure beats freezing cold February lambings.

Re: April 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
The weeklies from yesterday remains above normal precipitation and below normal temperatures. I'm hearing more talk of a sharp turnaround into warmer weather though. We'll see. It will be like we will be going from winter to Summer in one go.

Re: April 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
I used to do meat sheep but when we had the drought about 10-ish years ago, I had to feed hay through the summer and lost money on it so I've switched to registered Babydolls which are basically pet stock. I make more money on each lamb and they go to their new homes at 8 - 10 weeks old so I don't have to feed them!
