Sadly nothing here but a bit of drizzle still, the ground is frozen so if it does chance to snow, it should stick...am going out soon to forage for apple turnovers to drown my sorrows, if I'm not on later, you'll know I got stuck in a snow bank.
Haha! I was trying to think of the smallest thing. These suckers are so small, unless they change, there is no chance of accumulation

Stationary Low forming just to the west of South/Central Vancouver Island last few hours. This will substantially prop up the precip rates later today. I hope

Based on the wind directions shown on this map, you can see why some areas are lucky and others are not. Definitely threading a needle. Piglet Sound with those southerlies.

Edit Piglet Sound = Puget Sound

I’m leaving the typo

Areas between 100-200m are seeing periodic wet snows but not really posing any threat on the roads.
that would make them more wrong.

I'm not giving up hope for surprises but yeah its not an "overachiever" by any stretch. I'm a little more concerned about the long term trends, not seeing it yet in the EPS. It forms a block at the very end but nothing exciting for us. I've heard that were going into a good Mojo though, and I'm calling it that because I have no idea how MJO works.
