Something is going on here. All global and mesoscale models are trending better. Perhaps the infusion of tropical moisture wasn’t picked up until late. I don’t know. Tyler was on to something.

The spottier ones are actually higher resolution so factor in much more local geography. That's why when were in range of these ones we often look at them and start to favour them over the global models.
