Hey, look at that. We agree!

Yes like I said, as did mine. Snow/rain mix with a skiff on the grass.

Yeah. It will be one of those scenarios where we transition to +0C drizzle and see temperatures rise to +4C by the morning with an onshore flow....

For real...925mb temps being below 0C keeps snow threat near 100-200m through Monday. Lower with convective activity.

Lots of time for things to turn better thru the day as colder air slides in from the NW. Precip intensity and location is pretty much undecided with this meandering low center.

Long range GFS looks like the Real Deal Holyfield. Perhaps :silent:

Febuary has been predicted to turn favorable for the past 6 weeks by many METS. Backloaded Nina with lower SST temp in the NE Pac. MJO favorable with a potential SSW and -PNA. The ingredients are all there...seeing it all come together in the models.

Even if this event doesn’t satisfy everyone, everywhere, the positive news is that we look to enter a period with more chances of some low elevation snows.

Could be much worse than that.

The most important deciding factor as to whether an event is a bust or not is how much snow falls at YOUR house.

Edit: Sorry, that was supposed to be in response to a Canuck post.

I have only ever spoken to sea level. If a snow/rain mix with a dusting is not a bust for people, then that's genuinely good for them. We'll see what the rest of the day holds for sea level. Can only hope for some #surprises and everyone scores.
