Fake news, you're forgetting this is Wrinkle Rock, don't let all the toupees and wigs fool you, pretty tough to generate dandruff from bald heads, and that's snow joke.

Re: February 2024 Forecasts and Discussions
To Snow Or Not To Snow?
That is the question!
Tonight looks to be clear so you should get decent cooling over night.
Dew points are really low currently.
Tuesday looks very interesting. I can see the forecasters afraid to say what they think could happen. This helps nobody.
Currently Tuesday could turn out to be rain all day or snow all day. To not have a warning is foolish.
Dew points currently support snow down to sea level. Cool air aloft will be dragged down so we could see the temp stay around freezing all day but with lower dew points this will stay as snow.
Higher elevations are getting snow without a doubt.
Vancouver to Langley should see snow Tuesday at some point in the afternoon, possibly lasting over night into Wed.
Approx. 3 to 10cm is possible depending on elevation. (Burnaby Mountain)
Snow will start much later in the Fraser Valley. Snow should fall overnight into Wed morning. 5cm looks to be about the target amount. Slightly more the further east you go.
*Now, there is uncertainty in this forecast. Although it is supposed to warm up Wed, it's uncertain at what point exactly depending again on elevation. This will be a call it as it happens event again.
Back to rain after this as temps moderate, and then unsettled conditions near the end of the week may bring overnight flurries.
This appears to be winters last effort for the west coast.
Areas on Vancouver Island should do well with this system so be ready for that.

Re: February 2024 Forecasts and Discussions
LMAO Storm you crack me up sometimes. You somehow managed to answer my question the GFS consistently trying to bring another slushfall on Friday with the Euro showing something on Monday. That is true dedication to the #TeamSnow narrative.

Re: February 2024 Forecasts and Discussions
Nice, l guess we have abit of modified Arctic air possibly at play here.
As evident by temps of -8c in Kamloops and a strong west wind which is outflow up there. Williams Lake is -21c there's also northlery winds through the canyon down to Hope. every little bit helps especially this late now in the season dewpoints are our friend as well.

Re: February 2024 Forecasts and Discussions
Definitely have outflow pushing into the central valley at this hour a good sign for snow later today.
There shouldn't be too much moisture being eaten up by the outflow.
