#teamsnow’s in house model is suggesting FEETZ for everyone.

It usually scores in between the Euro and UK... so we’ll see what happens.

I’m thinking about 8cm here in Bellingham, less as you get further north. Lots in Victoria.

This is for tomorrow only, so don’t get too despondent. We’ll probably do far better from Sunday into Tuesday.

And it really is meant to handle convective events. Outside of that it is hit and miss.

So. EC considers Shawnigan Lake as east Vancouver island south. We made the warning write up

Snowfall warning in effect for:

East Vancouver Island - Duncan to Nanaimo
Snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 20 cm is expected.

Pacific moisture associated with an approaching frontal system will collide with the arctic front along Vancouver Island. Snow at times heavy will begin near midnight tonight and last through Saturday morning.

Total snowfall accumulation near 10 cm is expected near Nanaimo with the higher accumulation towards Duncan and Shawnigan Lake.

The heaviest snow will end Saturday morning but light to moderate snow will continue through the afternoon into early Saturday evening.
North end of Shawnigan Lake. Southern Vancouver island. 500ft

Strange thing is Mark Madryga during noon news didn't say anything about more chances for snow sun-tues, he just said we warm up after Sat.
