Outflow cranking and low landfalls to our south. Will keep the low level cold in place. 925mb temps remain very cold tonight. Gfs shows -10C over Victoria tonight. Champagne powder!

And you don’t need to travel to the Okanagan for it!

I’m getting a bit excited seeing these 40cm+ Bullseyes over the Shawnigan lake area. Even on the 10:1 snow maps. Usually it’s the kuchera ratios that go all nutty. Nice to see these improvements in the home stretch

It feels like you've had a 30 cm event every year since I've been lurking here. Wish I could move ->

If anybody is curious about Abbotsford's forecast: - 60 with a 100% chance of donuts.

Looks good over there. Triple impact with the track of the low, outflow enhancement and potential deformation zone.

Coquitlam79 wrote: Fri Feb 12, 2021 9:02 am Wowzers. SW Washington is going to get buried. For them this is equivalent to 1996 in terms of epic snowfalls. I'm glad we are not going to see those kinds of snowfall totals. Especially when it all turns to rain next week. What a mess. A little light snow works for me.
It ain't over til it's over , even though most are predicting less snow, anything could still happen , I've seen it before albeit not that often.

I'd prefer if South Sardis get a big fat donut.

We do really well with arctic air in play. Cold onshore flow from the NW and the mainland owns us every time. Haven’t seen much of that lately.
