Here is the Warfield WS. In 2020 I tried to find it but it's in a private location. Most of the time I don't care :silent: but in this case it was too difficult. I'd be curious to see it... Same for many other stations.

I'd think Trail should be warmer than Castlegar though since it's further south and at a slightly lower elevation.

Looking at the summer averages for those towns in the south Kootenay valleys though. They're basically on par with a lot of the Thompson/Okanagan/Similkameen/Boundary valley regions. Underrated heat spots.

If we're talking about warmest spot in BC though... this has definitely been mentioned before and it's almost certainly Spences Bridge. One of the earliest EC stations in the province but shut down soon after. :(

We should install an AWS (Davis Vantage Pro2) there. We just need to know someone willing to install it in their garden (on a very good location of course). We team up to buy it and go! I'm serious.

Ah, that is significantly lower than Warfield proper.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Today wasn’t bad at all but I have a feeling that tomorrow will be unpleasantly hot.

Perhaps Vanman but l suspect El Neeters was trying to sabotage the contest payback for the spring and half of summer that wasn't.And our mocking his prediction gone sideways this spring. :D

From a cupla nights ago, every time I go here(north side of Comox) for some late evening beach fishing it's always windy. Yesterday was very windy ,had to wear a sweater  . If Nito wants to avoid the heat this the place to go.

Absolutely outstanding stunning evening shots there Skipper. unfortunately sending Neats over there is not in our budget as Corporal Goose would like to use the forum budget we don't have to put a weather station in Warfield B.C. :wtf:
