Models taking Fridays low south on this mornings runs. Is that going to be a trend or will it flip flop again?

I'd rather it go south. Lower snow levels and the local mountains will get hammered.

Here is an animation of this mornings GEM regional. Headed right towards southern Vancouver Island. In this scenario, the strongest winds will likely be south of BC. Comments?

The Fraser Valley and areas south of the Fraser would get strong winds with a southern Vancouver Island track if I understand correctly.

Looking back at all of the mesoscale models, the HRDPS handled yesterday the best. It also had a pretty good track record last season. Something to keep in mind going forward.
