Lets look at the positives now...
In the Similkameeeeens, a lack of precip means the lakes may freeze over clean as Glass in a few weeks. Yessssss

Pete Parsons with the "Oregon Department of Forestry" had 1972/73 as his top analog for this winter. :thumbup:

I watched his forecast video. He was clearly using evidence based reasoning. Looking at the current conditions in the tropical pacific compared with 1972/73, there are a lot of similarities. While there is no guarantee the same outcome will verify, Pete Parsons is a meteorologist and is not interested in simply wish casting. :thumbup:
