Sky has that virga look to it. Radar showing that area of precip clipping western parts of metro Van but it's weak. Would be nice for the kiddos if a couple of flurries fell at the Santa Claus parade later EC has only a 30% chance the PM.

Damn, it's already +2.0C here. Why so mild already?
Looks like very little precip until this evening though... but this looks marginal at best.

Not looking great for the local ski hills. Snow levels up to over 1200m almost the entire week except for Friday afternoon goes down to 1000m. Not a great pattern It's gonna be mostly rain except maybe at the top of sky chair. The ski area Snow reports are such BS. "Gonna be a great day up here"! Meanwhile they have barely any snow and like 1 run open. SMH. Better bring the rock skis.
This forecast for the top of Grouse. 1230m or just over 4000 feet.
Grouse Mountain Weather (Days 0-3):
The weather forecast for Grouse Mountain is: A moderate fall of snow, heaviest on Tue nightFreeze-thaw conditions (max 2°C on Tue afternoon, min -3°C on Sun afternoon)Wind will be generally light.
Grouse Mountain Weather (Days 3-6):
Heavy rain (total 21mm) on Thu afternoon. Becoming colder with heavy fall of snow, heaviest during Fri afternoonFreeze-thaw conditions (max 4°C on Thu night, min -2°C on Fri night)Winds increasing (light winds from the S on Wed night, strong winds from the SSE by Thu night).

-Epo can good for us. -AO tends to be kind of meaningless for the west.

I’m gonna call it 0.6cm of snow. Light flurries with a breezy north wind but the snow is starting to disappear now
