The heat can’t be far off now.

I got an air conditioner in early summer of 2009 and a few weeks later the big heat wave hit.

I bought a second air conditioner in July 2017. August 2017 followed up with one of the warmest months in history.

I’m setting up a pool this weekend, at request of my pregnant wife. Have to wait and see what the second half of July and August have to offer.

Sunny but a little hazy this morning. Apparently some wildfire smoke from Alaska has been pulled into our trough.

Good news for smoke haters, bad news for campers. Hopefully it drys out by July 18 when I start my 7 day Bowron Lakes canoe trip. Rainfall amounts could exceed 100mm in the Fraser Canyon and Chilcotin areas which is concerning considering that this is an arid region and is prone to landslides during heavy rains, especially in areas where burn scars are.

I wouldn't worry too much , the rain predictions probably overdone, have fun.
I've delayed my sun peaks trout fishing trip till july 10 because of the troughy and coolish weather. Hopefully the bite is still on, should be considering the elevation is at 4500ft.
