Looks like temps rose between 2am and 3am which is likely when the clouds and patchy fog rolled back in.
I think we had some light drizzle fall overnight too.

A frosty -0.9˚C overnight here. Would have been colder, but low clouds and fog formed.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Yup... everything was looking nice and frosty yesterday evening.

In true wet coast fashion... wake up this am... the clouds/low clouds are back and everything is damp. Gotta keep the moss happy!

Gradients look rather flat with the approaching continental airmass...meaning fog and low clouds could be with us through next week as well. :tiredos:

This is great news Nito. In some of the damper areas with more persistent fog it may appear to be like a nice dusting of snow in the mornings. That might be the best we get this year for what kinda looks like "snow"

12Z Euro was somewhat interesting in the extended.

Lots of time for everything to shift :15arrow2right: :15arrow2right: again though.

However, as I mentioned before, we are getting closer to #FEB, so perhaps that one may actually work out?

:dunno:

It will probably shift east.

My hometown out in Ontario has seen snow on the ground for 6 weeks now. No extreme cold but the lakes nearby are frozen solid.

Models show slightly below normal temps with a very modified arctic airmass with lows struggling to get below freezing.

"Guys this is huge. We could see means dip below normal."

I appreciate the mans enthusiasm but everyone there is starving for interesting weather. Whether it be clear and sunny, wind, extreme rain, thunderstoems, hail, extreme cold or snow. The pattern depicted right now within the 10 day period is BORING.

He gets so excited for slightly below average temperatures. It's just silly.
