Warnings
5:52 PM PDT Wednesday 10 August 2022
Severe thunderstorm warning in effect for:
Similkameeeens
At 5:52 p.m. PDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain.
The thunderstorm is located 20 km south of Merritt and moving northwards. The thunderstorm is expected to impact Merritt and nearby communities in 30 minutes.
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Large hail can damage property and cause injury. Strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, break branches off trees and overturn large vehicles. Intense lightning is likely with any thunderstorm that develops. Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!
Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.

We never get to stop and open our eyes
One minute you're waiting for the sky to fall

Winter -- agree.
Summer -- disagree.
Edit: On that note -- should create a new thread dedicating to posting our ideal/dream climates. Would be cool to see.
