It’s the dreaded splitty and dry AR. Followed quickly by the warm and wet inversion. Classic progression towards an early spring.Sardisbcwx wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2019 9:31 pm Wait l thought El Nito last week said splitty and dry now wet and warm oh and inversion too. Now several AR's which is it. l need to plan the funeral for my snow shovel.

I agree Storm. That arctic blast on the 7th looks deadly. Johns house might finally collapse under the meter of snow we see. Meanwhile it looks like plain old rain in Abbotsford. Monty gets his trace of snow before it turns to 33 degree rain. Catnips hill sees tectonic subsidence reducing his elevation to 250ft. Take that Catnip!

Re: December 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
I love Fridays AR event....looking more and more intense with each run. Snow Thurs.
That's some insane rain followed by a wicked cold front that could bring some squall like tstorms. ECMWF showing a sub 980 low forming and making landfall on the sunshine coast. 60-90km/hr SE to SW winds?
