Re: December 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Pretty common for local hills to face big rain events a couple of times a winter season. Looks like freezing levels to drop again after Friday.

The PV is strong right now. A de amplified Aleutian ridge with a progressive pattern across NA. I don’t think anybody is going into the ice box anytime in the next 10 days
North end of Shawnigan Lake. Southern Vancouver island. 500ft

Do you remember what I said a few days ago?
Too optimistic: high risk of disappointment.
Realistic: no disappointment; a good surprise is possible.
It's my way of looking at it.

I hope all that snow backs itself into my cabin district area..and we get pumbled with another big snowstorm
I am here now. Snowing lightly again.
You should all consider winter vacations into snowy areas..high elevations nm Whistler village. Too low. Head to Similkameen and help my local business out lol
January 2025 incoming..looks like more Pineapples..Happy New Year!

As long as we win the Stanley cup, everything is fine.Canada Goose wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2019 9:57 am Do you remember what I said a few days ago?

I agree. It would appear that Nito is influenced by Bastardi.

@Catnip, that seems to indicate that the entire lower 50th will not see any cold this Jan. Still could see a cold wave hit the east before it retracts to Siberia.
-PNA will likely revert back to neutral or positive. Models indicating it in LR. The PNA ensembles havent latched onto it yet.
