Oh wow too bad our best Canadian Alfonso Davies couldn't play for Germany guess he can't being Canadian.
Looking forward to hopefully catching some of the Octagon matches next fall to try to qualify for the World Cup. Going to be very diffucult, but at least we get some matches to look forward to. I wonder if any will be hosted at BC Place.
I watched the England game today. To me, they looked like the better team. Germany really should've scored that breakaway on that horrific giveaway by Sterling but it bounced just wide.

Heard the Canada v US game in Jan could be held at BC Place.
Home games vs Mexico and Costa Rica in November should be held in Edmonton so we have an advantage weather-wise.

Maybe some Yellowknife matches? Lol.
Who do you like for the euro right now? Hard for me not to favour England, but knowing their history it's like the Canucks. Y
And these teams are all so strong. It's kind of wide open.

Still shocked the Swiss made it through.

Belgium are the favourites.
England are the Toronto Maple Leafs of football. They haven't won anything since 1966.
I can't believe the Swiss team really flubbed the shootout.

Italy's defense is rock solid and unlike in recent years past, it's balanced with up to par attacking talent.
Completely forgot about them in my last post but they've got to be favourites at this point.
Edit: That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if Italy-Spain semi final ends up being the game of the tournament since the other side of the bracket isn't exactly filled with world beaters at this point.
Italy vs England. Great matchup. Trying to get home in time Sunday to watch it from the cabin bit my family members couldn't care less about some soccer game.

I was cheering the Canadiens, and they put up a good fight, but ultimately, Tampa Bay is a team with almost dynasty quality to them.
